On May 26, 2006, our 20^th Anniversary, Virginia touched me greatly when she gave me the following card. The key is in what she wrote.

There is no achievement in my life that I am more proud of than this. Especially knowing that I still love her and miss her greatly. I believe that she is in a better place. I'm just sad for myself that she is gone. God forgive me if there was anything else I could have done to improve and save her life beyond that which I did.

Note that Marcel is my given name at Birth, but I've gone by Mark most of my life.
