Hi from Mark and Virginia. We hope that all is well with you. As
we both have passed another birthday,
we wanted to update you on the latest in our lives. This summer
we sold
our home, moved into an RV bus and resettled in Colorado Springs to
attend
Charis Bible College (http://www.AWMI.net/CBC).
We haven't communicated with some of you in a long time. That's
one
of the reasons why we want to establish this newsletter; next month we
will
explain why our mailing address is in Texas when we still live in
Colorado.
A lot has happened since August 2002 when Virginia nearly died
and spent time in the hospital.
We thank you for the prayers that went up in her behalf.
Summaries
of our life are continuing to be posted in Virginia's Journal (http://www.Bolzern.Org/vj2003.html).
We also would like to know what is happening in your lives, especially
if
you have any needs for which we should be praying.
School is most exciting! Thanks for all of you who have been
encouraging
in this process. We're enjoying being on location for second year
after
having had the first year via correspondence. What drew us to
Charis
Bible College is that it teaches practical
application
of scripture to life and focuses on relationship with God, sharing with
others
and finding His calling in your life. It's not another dry, dead
seminary/theology/theocracy
school in which we would have had no interest. We are blessed
with
this opportunity to be in school and to volunteer at the Helpline at
Andrew
Wommack Ministries (http://www.AWMI.net).
The
annual Missions fundraiser is coming up in a
few weeks. Going on an
international mission trip combines training students for ministry with
an outreach for the school to do good around the world. As
part of the school process, we get credit for sending out
letters and for the donations received. Any funds above those
necessary
for our international mission trip will help to fund the mission trip
of
another student or in the unlikely event of excess, Charis Bible
College itself.
We have included a copy of the form
letter/response coupon for your
perusal. We wish you to respond as the Lord leads. Our main
purpose
in sending this letter is so that you will know what we are up to.We’d also like you to keep us in your
prayers. Future newsletters will tell you more about the school’s
missions
trips and the one we in which we will participate next January.
Until next time, God Bless!
Mark Bolzern and Virginia Lane
P.S. We are sending out this newsletter in various forms. If you
received
this via postal and would prefer email, please let us know your email
address.
Some of you will receive by both methods. We will
eventually plan
to postal mail only to those without email unless you specifically
request hard
copy. If you have any friends who would like to be on our mailing
list,
please have them send us their email / postal address to
or our postal mailing address. Or
If you would prefer not to be on
our
newsletter mailing list, please do not hesitate to let us know, and
we'll be
happy to remove you.
