This
has been a glorious summer. Since finishing school, we have
continued to work
in our RV Park on a
four days
on/four days off schedule. It pays the rent while still giving us time
to
pursue our goals for ministry. We are developing relationships with a
number of
people and are participating in a new
Bible Study started by some
friends who
hope to expand into a church setting. Picture: Many of our regular
group, plus
from Washington State, Dennis
& Brenda
Peterson.
Mark
recently took a trip to Anchorage, Alaska. He was able to renew
friendships as
well as minister to a number of people and take care of some actual
business,
too.
Various
people have asked us about our ministry. At this time, we are steadily
building
the BBtJ.Org web site with both
content and
technical capability, forging alliances with other ministries, doing
personal
ministry at the RV Park, writing this newsletter and preparing for
future
ministry as God leads.. We've taken the next step of preparation for
anticipated
ministry travels by purchasing a used Geo Tracker as a replacement for
our
current vehicles. We need a small, light vehicle as a toad (is towable).
We’d
like to share with you our current mission and vision statements, and
request
your comments.
The BBtJ.Org Mission Statement:
Inspire
everyone to achieve true joy through
personal relationship with our Creator. (John
15:9-12)
Bring Back the Joy Vision Statement:
BBtJ.Org will further the Gospel
through positive example, teaching, resources and interaction online,
as well
as face to face interaction. (Acts
1:8)
Further
elaboration: We believe the Bible states that God's primary desire
in
having created us is to live in Joy forever with his children. An
increasing
number of people are Internet savvy; huge numbers of people spend a
goodly
amount of their time online, especially younger ones. However, like
everyone
else there is always that hole in their hearts that only knowing God
can fill.
God won't force himself on any of us; we each have to choose him. We
have to
walk in the way that Jesus led. To do this, we have to know what is
available
to us and how. This knowledge comes to us via God’s Word the Bible, via
God’s
true servants on this earth and via the Holy Spirit. If we will seek
him first,
God promises peace, prosperity, health and happiness during this
physical life
in addition to a reward so great in the future that we cannot even
imagine it
now. It’s well worth it, despite a few trials & tribulations we
mostly
bring on ourselves due to lack of knowledge. And despite occasional
persecution
from those who oppose God and any that seek him. BBtJ.Org will help
people to
discover the Joy of the Lord, and the strength in this Joy for
themselves (Nehemiah
8:10). Being uniquely prepared, we will by the leading of the Holy
Spirit
grow into building relationships and using the internet in positive
ways that
no other ministries have to date. For more, please visit: http://www.BBtJ.Org/about/vision-mission.html/#More
We
are looking for people who wish to help us further this vision. See our

Virginia gives up Baby
To continue following the directive “Debt Free and Portable”
Virginia and Mark approached a local car dealer with Virginia’s Miata.
This has been her toy, her baby, her dream car. And it was debt free. But it’s impractical
for where God is taking us.
The dealer paid us ten times what we spent on the Tracker, and the rest
will be applied to other debts. Here it is as the star attraction in the
dealer showroom. Virginia recalled praying for this car, and being told
that it would only be for a season. She had agreed that a couple of
years would be fine, and it’s been four. God is Good!
DE /Activity Report
Fountain Creek RV Park where we are staying has just been sold
to new owners Anchie Fisco and Ricky Fisco. Mark and Virginia are
helping David Fisher, our outgoing boss, and other existing employees
to train the new owners in running their new business. Also by asking
appropriate questions, Mark facilitated the hiring of one of our
Discipleship Evangelism students by the RV park.
Feedback from our Readers
Ann W: It is so good to see that you are well and
happy. How encouraging it is to see that you and Mark have found
direction and fulfillment in your ministry.
Sharon P: What an incredible work you did! You are an
awesome teacher, Virginia. You blew me away as I read your testimony of
the “Womens Weekend”. What a gift God has placed in you. You are a
writer! When are you going to write a book? Wow, The other views you
have, I could hardly believe my eyes at all you have written. You go
Girl!
Ivan P: Sorry to have missed seeing you the last time I
was in Colorado Springs. I have looked at your newsletter and found it
to be helpful in keeping up with you two. It is even more essential
that you stay in touch so that we know where you are and what God is
doing in the lives of the people who are touched by the ministry God
has given you.Truly, the Lord is doing some very great things with your
marriage and in your ministry.
