As we have a hint of fall coming into the air, we have some exciting
things to tell you about our plans for the future.
As you know, we've been working at the RV Park for the summer tourist
season. It has been a challenge as well as rewarding as we work
together with the new owners to make the Park an increasingly pleasant
place to visit.
In July we attended the CBC Summer Bible
Conference in Colorado
Springs, renewing old acquaintances and making new ones. Dave Hinton
gave a concert during the mid-week barbecue (picture above); if you
haven’t heard his 50 renditions of Amazng Grace, you are missing out.
Dave, founder of Outreach
for America, has invited us for an extended
visit. This is to form a relationship and see how we might be able to
work together. As a beginning, we hope to help Dave put together a web
site for his ministry. We plan to pull up stakes (meaning--unhook the
water/sewer/electric on our RV) and head to Oklahoma on September 15th.
Dave is also planning a "Camp Meeting" at their new administrative
facility in Hominy
for the last part of October. Cindy Hinton took us
on a tour of the building during the couple of hours we spent in Hominy
a few weeks ago. Outreach For America does ministry to inner city
youth, schools, Indian reservations, the rodeo circuit, missions trips,
pastors a church in far north Saskatchewan and much more. As a
talented musician, Dave includes music in all areas.
We still have to obtain some miscellaneous items, and have some bus and
car repairs to pay for before we are ready to roll. We visited Hominy
during our whirlwind trip to Texas to get all our vehicles registered
(Bussie, Tracker & Truckster). That is, all except the Chrysler
Town & Country Van which we are leaving on a consignment lot for
sale, after taking this trip in it. Now that we are out of school, it
was time to move our residency from Colorado. We visited 6 states in 8
days. At each stop we were able to share our faith in some way. One new
friend asked us to administer the Baptism of
the Holy Spirit to him. We
appreciated the hospitality extended to us during our visits. One
highlight of the trip was visiting Martha House McLemore, Virginia's
childhood friend whom she had not seen for 35 years. Martha drove us
around Brenham, TX to see the houses the Lanes lived in and the schools
the girls attended. For more highlights of our trip, see Virginia's
Journal. Below is a picture of us with Peter & Colleen Brixius
in
Scott’s Bluff Nebraska; their teenage son Casper took the picture.
Our web site BBtJ.Org is growing every
day
as we put new materials on it. We welcome materials by Pastor Lawson
Perdue of Charis Christian Center and Larry Perrino of Rivkah.. The Art
& Prose section now has the “Theophilus” and “Our Father’s
Children” cartoon series by Bob West. We also thank those of you who
have sent donations to our ministry. Donations can be taken through
PayPal on our web
site or make checks payable to “BBtJ.Org c/o GCS”.
God’s Peace and Joy be with you all,
Mark & Virginia Lane Bolzern
Mark
Prepares to sell Vanna (picture at
right)
To
continue
following the directive “Debt Free and Portable” given to us by God,
we have put our 2000 Town & Country Van nicknamed "Vanna" on a consignment
lot. Car dealers are not offering near its true value. It is All
Wheel
Drive, and top of the line with nearly every available option. Vanna
still has
42,000 miles and 3 years remaining on the warranty. If any of you are
interested in this car let us know. It is a great car, but cannot
inexpensively
be made towable behind our RV. But it’s the perfect car for long roads,
or lots
of kids.

A few weeks ago, Mark went out to take a
walk. Before long
he found himself in the midst of a miracle that God had been praparing
for at
least a month. There is too much to share here, so please, for the rest

Feedback from our Readers
Leland S: Thanks for putting me on your emailing list.
I want to know all you are doing. It was good to see you both at the
conference last week. I look forward to future news from you and to
keeping in touch.
Jill R: What a great newsletter!!! I'm glad all is
well and the vehicle transactions were a success! As I was reading your
listing of articles, I had a baby kick as I read "Our God will supply
all my needs". I thought that was cool!!!! We are doing well and going
with God's flow and provision ... we are all so blessed to have a
wonderful God as we do!!!!! I am excited about your plans with Dave. I
know God's connection is planned and you will know if this is it...I am
excited about God's plan to use all the talents He has given you both.
I look forward to being posted on the events as we will share ours as
they occur. God is so good and has gone out of His way to encourage us
and give us His peace. Praise Him!!!!!!!
Julie S: At this time would you remove my name from
your
mailings. Sounds like you and Mark are doing wonderfully and having so
many experiences. May the Lord continue to bless and keep you in your
journey. Until our paths cross again, bless you!
Brenda P: Just thought I'd respond to the
newsletter. It
was a great newsletter. It seems things are looking up forward for your
ministry. I hope when you come this way we can have an established
house church by then, at least a continuing of our current Bible Study
sessions. It will be good to have visiting ministers to bring us some
joy and new light in God's Word.
